L5 Heat Exchangers

Module Description

The heat exchanger module simulates steady state, 1-D heat transfer within the fully developed flow region of a concentric heat exchanger of either parallel flow or counterflow geometry. The simulator enables control of heat exchanger geometry, heat exchanger material, heat transfer fluid/fluid parameters, and computes outlet temperature of the two flows as a function of heat exchanger length.
