		-	A research article co-authored by Nastaran Hashemi, the William March Scholar in Mechanical Engineering, entitled "Optofluidic characterization of marine algae using a microflow cytometer" was one of the top 20 most read articles in Biomicrofluidics for the month of October. Nastaran wrote the article with Jeffrey S. Erickson, Joel P. Golden and Frances S. Ligler in September 2011. More
	September	-	Biomicrofluidics article was selected for the October 3, 2011 issue of Virtual Journal of Nanoscale Science & Technology.
		-	Prof. Hashemi is the new William March Scholar in Mechanical Engineering. More
